As we have proffered here at least once before, and have now been borne out as wrong (if only in name only, if only for now), we thought Madame Comptroller Carole Keeton Strayhorn would fulfill her destiny as the Once And Future Democrat, and switch back.

Apparently, we were not alone in that assessment. But unlike our mere analysis, others have an emotional stake in the flop flipping.

Former Democrat state Representative Steve Wolens has let his feelings belie his thoughts on her decision to remain a RINO (feelings doing the belying for his thinking is a common occurrence for Wolens; he is, after all, a Donkey).

"I'm crushed that Carole didn't run as a Democrat."

So are we, Representative, so are we.
