In case you haven’t noticed? DC lies. A LOT.
DC spent years saying (now re-)President Donald Trump colluded with Russia. That was a lie.
DC spent years saying all sorts of things related to the Covid self-inflicted nightmare mess. There were LOTS of lies contained therein.
DC STILL says carbon dioxide (CO2) is a pollutant. Which is a titanic, ludicrous lie.
Like flora? Plants inhale CO2 as we exhale it. And then plants exhale O2 - which we inhale. So don’t hate - respirate. Hug a tree - and then breathe on it.
DC lies for the same reason all people who lie lie. To advance their actual interests - without acknowledging their actual interests.
DC lied about Trump because they didn’t want him to be president. DC lied about all things Covid because they wanted to (amongst other things) fundamentally transform the economy to the benefit of Big Business. DC lies about CO2 so as to “justify” the ever-expansion of government so as to allegedly address “climate change.”
Well, behold yet another DC lie: The number of Americans “unconnected” to the Internet.
The ‘State of Digital’ in the United States of America in 2025:
“(A)pproximately 23.9 million Americans are not connected to the Internet, which represents a significant portion of the population.”
Depressingly, most Americans STILL mindlessly accept stats spewed at them by alleged “experts.” But apply even a little grey matter to this “unconnected” assertion? And its absurdity leaps out at you.
Does anyone really think almost 24 million Americans don’t have cell phones (and other wireless devices)? That seems preposterous - even to the same people claiming almost 24 million Americans are not connected to the Internet:
“A total of 411 million cellular mobile connections were active in the United States of America in early 2025, with this figure equivalent to 119 percent of the total population.”
There are 345 million people in the US. 18.24% are under the age of 15. That’s about 60.5 million people. Logic dictates that but a vanishing percentage of that cohort has a connection. For our purposes, we’ll generously say 20% of these children have connections. Or 12.1 million.
That means 296.6 million Americans - have 411 million cell connections. 23.9 million people not having even one? Means 273 million people have 411 million connections. That means 66% of these connections are multiples per person.
Say each multiple is two connections. That would mean at least 138 million people have two connections. That would be about 40% of the entire US population. That doesn’t seem ABSURD to you?
Think about the people you know. How many have multiple cell connections? For most of you, not many is my guess.
So how is it possible that DC can claim almost 24 million people aren’t connected to the Internet? Because DC rigs their numbers - so as to not count most cell connections as connections. Which is ABSURD.
And why does DC do this? To “justify” wasting our money, of course.
DC Wasting 100s of Billions - On Already-Almost-100% Internet-Connected America
How do we know the US is already almost 100% connected? Because President Barack Obama said so…a decade ago.
Obama Admitted 98% of Americans Were Fast-Internet-Connected - in 2015
And Obama got there - by counting cellular connections…:
“98 percent of Americans nationwide are now connected to high-speed wireless Internet, surpassing any point in history.
“‘Four years ago, I set a national goal to provide 98 percent of Americans with high-speed wireless Internet so that any young scientist or entrepreneur could access the world’s information,’ the President said. ‘Today, I can announce that we have achieved that goal, and we did it ahead of schedule.’”
There were 320.9 million in 2015. That means 6.4 million were unconnected.
The average cellular Internet speed in 2015 was 4.5 Mbps. It is now 110 Mbps. How can DC possibly claim the “unconnected” number has quadrupled since then?
By DC lyingly doing its “unconnected math.” DC lyingly, massively inflates what they say constitutes a minimum “connected” speed. Which allows them to then further inflate the number of “unconnected.” Which they then claim justifies their continuing to waste our money to connect them.
It’s like a baseball pitcher also being his own umpire. How do you think those balls-and-strikes calls will go?
Why has DC done this? Because DC decided wasting hundreds of billions of dollars was better than acknowledging pretty much everyone has been connected to the Internet for more than a decade. And you can’t fraudulently spend the money - without first cooking the books.
If government schools can’t get their students to pass? Inflate their numbers.
If not enough people died from Covid? Inflate the numbers.
If government spenders can’t justify spending on “connecting the unconnected” to the Internet? Inflate the “unconnected” numbers.
That’s the DC way.
